NSIC Certification

Micro and small businesses that have been producing stores continuously for a year, have their own workshop or lease one, and possess the commercial and technical know-how to produce stores or offer services for supply to government departments like DGS&D, Railways, Defense, P&T, Central and State Government Departments, and Central and State Government Public Sector Undertakings, among others. These businesses must also adhere to BIS or other standards that the government purchasing agencies require.

Under the Single Point Registration Scheme, a provisional registration certificate may be issued to micro and small businesses that have started commercial production but have not yet completed one year of existence. This certificate will only be valid for one year from the date of issuance following the payment of the registration fee and the acquisition of the necessary documentation.

The initial funding cap for these units would be set at a mere Rs. 5 Lac. The Provisional Registration Certificate is only going to be good for a full year. The unit must renew the Provisional Registration Certificate prior to its expiration in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Single Point Registration Scheme for registration renewal.
